In Vancouver, British Columbia on August 20, 2024, ZEB Nickel Corp. announced that the Department of Minerals and Petroleum Resources in South Africa has granted an Integrated Environmental Authorisation for the Zeb Nickel Project in Limpopo Province, South Africa. This authorization allows for the extraction of various minerals including nickel, copper, platinum-group metals, gold, chrome, cobalt, vanadium, and iron ore over a 30-year period.

Following the granting of the Integrated Environmental Authorisation, the Company notified all Interested and Affected Parties (I&APs) as required by the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations. A 20-day appeal period was provided for those wishing to submit an appeal to the Minister of Forestry, Fisheries, and Environment. The appeal period has now concluded, and the Company looks forward to receiving the mining right from the DMPR to begin mining activities.

The Company’s strategic objectives to enhance the nickel grade and improve the project’s economics remain a priority through further drilling and exploration of promising geological units.
