Solis Minerals Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Michael Parker as Executive Director of the Company. Mr. Parker, who previously served as Non-Executive Director since the ASX listing in December 2021, will oversee the operation of the Company’s exploration businesses in Latin America.
With a background in geology and 16 years of experience as a member of the FAusIMM, Mr. Parker has extensive experience in exploration and project development, overseeing projects from discovery to production. His previous roles include senior country manager positions with First Quantum Minerals (FQM) where he was responsible for major copper discoveries in Peru.
Under Mr. Parker’s leadership, Solis has focused on copper exploration targets in the Peruvian coastal belt. The Company plans to drill these targets later this year and in 2025 as part of its growth strategy to create shareholder value.
Additionally, Mr. Matt Boyes has resigned as a director and officer from Solis effective 30 August 2024. The Board expresses their gratitude for his significant contributions over the past 18 months.
