AtkinsRéalis (TSX: ATRL) has entered into an agreement with Third Qinshan Nuclear Power Company Ltd. to provide support for the 30-year life extension of two CANDU reactors at the Qinshan Nuclear Generating Station in China. The scope of the agreement includes design, engineering, and procurement services for Phase III of the project.

The reactors at the Qinshan Nuclear Generating Station, which began operating between 2002-2003, have set a national record for continuous operation. The life extension initiative aims to enable a further 30 years of operation by incorporating the latest technological advancements.
