On October 17, 2024, Appia Rare Earths & Uranium Corp. announced the commencement of an airborne Gravity Gradiometer and Magnetic Survey over its Otherside Property located within the uranium-bearing Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada. The survey will be conducted by Xcalibur Smart Mapping using their Falcon Airborne Gravity Gradiometer (AGG) technology to explore potential uranium deposits.

The goal of this survey is to utilize gravity and magnetic geophysics to identify lithostructural contrasts in subsurface rocks, with the aim of pinpointing key anomalies that may lead to uranium discoveries. This survey is a crucial step in Appia’s exploration efforts and will provide valuable data to guide drilling decisions.

The Otherside Property is situated along a corridor with multiple electromagnetic (EM) conductors, sharing similarities with other high-grade uranium plays in the western Athabasca Basin. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, Appia aims to make significant advancements in its search for potential uranium deposits within the Athabasca Basin.

Stephen Burega, President of Appia, expressed excitement about the commencement of the survey at the Otherside property. The data gathered will be used to refine the geological model of the property and pinpoint priority drill targets.

The technical content in this announcement was reviewed and approved by Dr. Irvine R. Annesley, P.Geo., Senior Technical Advisor for Appia and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
