Exploits Discovery Corp, a mineral exploration company based in Toronto, Ontario, released assay results from recent diamond drill holes completed at the Saddle Zone on the Bullseye property. Situated near the Appleton Fault Zone (AFZ) in Central Newfoundland, the Saddle Zone has shown promising mineralization with significant gold intercepts in recent drilling activities.
The recent drill holes, BE-24-022, BE-24-023, and BE-24-024, were strategically designed to extend and confirm the mineralization previously encountered in hole BE-24-015. The results from BE-24-022 and BE-24-024 indicated gold intercepts at varying depths below the surface, showcasing the potential for gold mineralization at the Saddle Zone.
Ongoing surveying of the drill holes by DGI Geoscience with their proprietary downhole Televiewer tool aims to provide structural orientation insights to further interpret the mineralized zone. Additionally, current observations from logging activities and assay results suggest that the Saddle Zone remains open in all directions.
President and CEO of the company, Jeff Swinoga, expressed satisfaction with the Phase 3 drill program’s discovery of a new gold zone, named Saddle. He highlighted the significance of the remaining drill results in confirming the extension of the gold mineralization system beyond previously reported high-grade gold mineralization. With a focus on follow-up drill plans and a till-sampling program at the Gazeebow property, Exploits Discovery Corp aims to establish itself as a prominent gold exploration company in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The Bullseye claims, staked in September 2022, are adjacent to New Found Gold Corp.’s Queensway project, offering significant exploration potential due to their location overlaying the AFZ and related splay structures. Quality Assurance – Quality Control protocols are followed meticulously in sampling, logging, and assay processes, with all core samples analyzed at an accredited laboratory using industry-standard methods.
