On October 17, 2024, at 4:00 PM EDT, Nextleaf Solutions Ltd., a prominent life science company and licensed cannabis processor based in Vancouver, British Columbia, announced the launch of an innovative virtual tour of their Coquitlam B.C. processing facility. This virtual tour showcases the Company’s multi-patented extraction technology and is divided into four self-guided sections, made possible through a grant from the Canadian Digital Adoption Program (CDAP).

Emma Andrews, CEO of Nextleaf, emphasized the importance of transparency in the cannabis industry and expressed the Company’s commitment to providing consumers with insight into the production process. This virtual tour sets a new standard for transparency and education within the Canadian cannabis sector.

The tour includes four stops – Primary Extraction, Distillation, Manufacturing, and The Vault – each featuring 360-degree videos and additional educational content. The immersive experience allows users to navigate through the facility and gain a deeper understanding of Nextleaf’s extraction processes.

The specialized 360-degree footage for the virtual tour was created by Ben Taft from 360 Immersion, a videographer based in British Columbia. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, users can explore the facility as if they were physically present, enhancing their learning experience.

Through the support of the CDAP grant, Nextleaf aims to scale its impact and provide stakeholders with on-demand access to the facility tour. This initiative reflects the Company’s overall strategy to leverage digital adoption for operational efficiency and growth.

In addition to the virtual tour, Nextleaf has invested in ERP software and EQMS systems to enhance inventory management and quality assurance. The Company’s commitment to innovation and transparency underscores its position as a leader in the cannabis processing industry.

Nextleaf Solutions Ltd. is known for its patented extraction and distillation technology, which is renowned for processing cannabis at scale. With a portfolio of established consumer brands and high-quality cannabis products, Nextleaf offers a range of products in both medical and recreational markets.
