On August 21, 2024, Golden Rapture Mining Corporation announced the successful completion of the initial diamond drill program at its Tier 1 Phillips Township Gold Property in the Rainy River District, NW Ontario. The shallow diamond drilling program began in May and concluded on August 10, 2024, with most holes ranging from 50 to 150 ft in depth. The program focused on areas near the old Combined Mine shafts and surface veins aligned with the shafts, with dip angles ranging from 45 to 70 degrees.
The Phillips Township property encompasses eighteen mine shafts and an adit, including the Combined Mine, Mascotte Mine, Trojan Mine, and others. Various types of mineralized zones were encountered during the drilling program, and drill core samples have been sent to the AGAT Lab in Thunder Bay for analysis. The Company is excited to share the results as soon as they become available.
