On August 14, 2024, Go Metals Corp., a company based in Vancouver, British Columbia, reported significant findings from a reconnaissance program conducted at the KM98 critical metals project located in Quebec, Canada.

According to Scott Sheldon, the CEO of Go Metals, the company discovered multiple titanium-vanadium-bearing massive oxides occurrences at the project. The samples collected indicated medium to high-grade values in both vanadium and titanium, with some samples showing TiO2 values up to 48% and 0.37% V2O5.

The geological team at Go Metals identified magnetite-rich zones at each target within the property. Further analysis revealed promising vanadium and titanium values, with the highest concentrations found at the north end of a large EM anomaly. These results suggest the potential for valuable mineral deposits at the site.

Conductivity tests using an MPP probe from GDD were conducted on the samples to determine their electromagnetic response. Some samples exhibited significant responses, indicating the presence of oxides that may explain the airborne EM signature observed in previous surveys.

A Scanning Electron Microscope interpretation of the samples is currently underway to analyze the deportment of critical metals within the oxide minerals. Preliminary results show promising concentrations of vanadium within the titanomagnetite, enhancing the value of the iron ore present in the samples.

Overall, the KM98 project shows promise for hosting valuable critical metals, and further exploration and analysis are planned to fully assess the potential of the site. The company’s commitment to responsible and accurate testing methods, as well as adherence to quality assurance standards, ensures reliable results for stakeholders and investors.
