On August 27, 2024, Bullion Gold Resources Corporation announced new sampling results from its Bodo project. Despite a brief work period, the initial results from surface sampling revealed a promising perspective on the polymetallic potential of the project. The work focused on the Rivon Lake and Canico showings.
Key highlights included a significant presence of base metals, gold, and silver at Rivon and Canico, as well as anomalous contents of Cu, Zn, Ni, Co, Au, and Ag in most areas visited. Although a bag containing samples from the massive sulfide zone was lost, future sampling in that sector is planned.
The prospecting campaign also uncovered minerals associated with a VMS potential such as copper, zinc, cobalt, and nickel. The presence of gold and silver further adds to the economic potential of the project.
The company is encouraged by the results, with President and CEO Jonathan Hamel emphasizing the strong future potential of the Rivon Lake and Canico showings. Historical drilling and fieldwork suggest the presence of valuable mineralized shear zones parallel to each other, enhancing the project’s prospects.
The company plans to conduct an airborne magnetic geophysical survey and EM reading to identify favorable zones across the eastern part of the project. This survey is anticipated for the fall of 2024, followed by a drilling program to test the lateral and depth extensions of the known Rivon zones. The Bodo project holds significant promise in light of the rising prices of gold, silver, and copper.
The initial focus will be on the Rivon Lake showing sector, with plans for further exploration programs across the property. The Company aims to capitalize on the project’s potential and attract interest from companies and investors seeking lucrative polymetallic projects.
