Patriot Battery Metals Inc. (the “Company” or “Patriot”) is announcing the addition of experienced lithium commercial executive Alex Eastwood to their team. Eastwood will take on the newly created role of Executive Vice President – Commercial at Patriot Battery Metals, effective immediately. Based primarily in Australia, Eastwood will contribute to the ongoing engagement Patriot has with the industry downstream as they prepare for the future of the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project (formerly known as the Corvette Project).
With over 28 years of experience in mining and corporate transactions, Alex Eastwood, a lawyer by training, was one of the founding senior executives at Pilbara Minerals in roles such as General Counsel, Chief Commercial and Legal Officer, and Company Secretary.
Ken Brinsden, Patriot’s Managing Director, expressed his enthusiasm about Eastwood joining the team, highlighting Eastwood’s vast experience in lithium raw materials. Brinsden sees Eastwood’s addition as an important endorsement of the potential of the Shaakichiuwaanaan Project within the lithium industry.
