Metallis Resources Inc., a mining company based in Vancouver, BC, released positive results from its inaugural field exploration program at the Greyhound Property in central Idaho, USA. The program included geological mapping, XRF survey, soil sampling, and rock sampling, which confirmed historic assays and highlighted high-grade silver, gold, lead, zinc, and antimony assays.
Fiore Aliperti, the CEO and President of Metallis, expressed satisfaction with the exploration results, emphasizing the significance of the high-grade silver, gold, and antimony assays. The company is now considering options for further exploration, such as geophysics and drilling, to capitalize on the asset’s value.
Key highlights of the exploration program include remarkable sample results, high-grade antimony findings, advancing targets for future exploration, and discovery potential. Rock sampling revealed exceptional assay grades, with some grab samples exceeding 10 g/t AuEq.
The continuous chip sampling and soil sampling efforts also yielded promising results, indicating the presence of mineralized shoots and the discovery of a new showing named “Akita”. Geological mapping further showcased the complexity of the orogenic mineralization at the Greyhound Property.
Metallis acquired the Greyhound Property in February 2024 and holds an option to earn a 100% interest in the property through staged payments and exploration expenditures. The property, which was historically active in the early 1900s, remains underexplored, offering potential for further discoveries.
