Kelowna, British Columbia–September 10, 2024– Strathmore Plus Uranium Corporation (TSXV: SUU) (OTCQB: SUUFF) is pleased to announce that it has received the final Drill Notice permit from the State of Wyoming to conduct exploratory drilling at the Beaver Rim project in the Gas Hills Uranium District of Wyoming. The permit allows for 10,000 feet of drilling, scheduled to commence the week of September 16th to confirm historical results and extend mineralization into areas with limited past exploration.
Mr. Terrence Osier, VP Exploration of Strathmore, expressed enthusiasm for the exploration of the Beaver Rim claims. He highlighted previous drilling at Beaver Rim in 2012, where stacked roll-fronts were encountered at the West Diamond area at depths of 700 to 1,000 feet. Osier noted the presence of the entire mineralized host-sandstone, providing multiple targets across the properties. The company has contracted with local Wyoming firms, Lou’s Drilling of Riverton and Hawkins CBM Logging of Cody, for the upcoming exploration campaign.
The Beaver Rim project spans 131 wholly owned mining claims totaling 2,706 acres in the Gas Hills uranium district, the largest producer in Wyoming. Historical and recent reports suggest significant discovery potential in the lesser explored areas, particularly atop Beaver Rim. The project area has a history of exploration by various companies, including Strathmore Minerals in 2012, which encountered uranium mineralization at depths of 700-1,000 feet in stacked roll front deposits. The project lies south of Cameco’s Gas Hills in-situ recovery project and adjacent to the West Diamond claim group. Strathmore is actively reviewing the greater Beaver Rim area for additional properties with uranium mineralization potential.
Strathmore Plus Uranium Corp. holds three permitted uranium projects in Wyoming, namely Agate, Beaver Rim, and Night Owl. The Agate and Beaver Rim properties contain uranium in typical Wyoming-type roll front deposits, while the Night Owl property is a former producing surface mine from the 1960s.
The technical information in this release has been reviewed and approved by Terrence Osier, P.Geo., Vice President, Exploration of Strathmore Plus Uranium Corp., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
