Brisbane, Queensland, Australia–(Newsfile Corp. – August 19, 2024) – Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd. (TSXV: GMG) is pleased to present an update on the commercialization progress of THERMAL-XR® Powered by GMG Graphene.
GMG and Nu Calgon have partnered with a consultant to prepare and submit a Pre-Manufacture Notice (PMN) for approval by the USA Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to import and sell in the USA. The PMN application is anticipated to be submitted by the end of October and approval is expected within 12 months. The PMN application differs significantly from the previously submitted Low Volume Exemption (LVE) PMN, as it is not limited by volume, application, or sector.
Ongoing customer engagement efforts in the USA are being led by North America Distribution Partner Nu Calgon. Nu Calgon, a key player in the HVACR market in North America, has introduced Cool Worx Powered by GMG Graphene to the industry with encouraging results, including a significant reduction in energy consumption demonstrated in a recent case study.
GMG is actively collaborating with air conditioning manufacturers in China and the USA for THERMAL-XR® production coating trials, as well as engaging with manufacturers of trucks and trains for potential applications of the technology.
GMG’s Managing Director, Craig Nicol, expressed excitement about the progress being made with THERMAL-XR®, highlighting the diverse industries currently trialing the product and placing orders. Similarly, GMG’s Chairman, Jack Perkowski, emphasized the potential of THERMAL-XR® in various markets, including the China Air Conditioner Manufacturers segment.
