VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 21, 2024 – Nevada King Gold Corp. (TSXV: NKG) (OTC: NKGFF) (“Nevada King” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the initiation of its Phase III drill program by mobilizing a reverse-circulation (RC) drill for drilling activities at the newly discovered Wild West Target (WWT) (August 19, 2024 release) within its 5,166 hectares, 100%-owned Atlanta Gold Mine Project situated along the Battle Mountain Trend, 264km northeast of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Highlights of the Wild West Zone include:
– AT24WS-84 intersected 4.32 g/t Au over 9.1m
– Located 60m west of AT24WS-83 which intersected 4.67 g/t Au over 42.7m
– It represents the westernmost high-grade gold mineralization intercept at the Wild West Zone and the Atlanta Project to date
The Company is deploying a Schramm 685 drill rig to follow up on the mineralization identified in AT24WS-84, extending further westward across the WWT. Initial drilling pads have been prepared for testing the WWT up to 500m west of its current drilled extent. The WWT area, with dimensions of 500m in length and 200m in width, remains open to the west, situated on the west side of the West Atlanta Fault #2. Recent drilling has revealed thick, high-grade mineralization extending beyond the Atlanta Resource Zone.
Furthermore, plans are underway to mobilize a second drill rig to Atlanta for a 59-hole regional pass of 12 drill targets identified in previous releases. The Company’s Exploration Manager, Cal Herron, highlighted the significance of the Wild West Zone in relation to major basement structures and known mineralization trends in the region.
Quality assurance and quality control protocols are strictly adhered to in all drilling activities at the Atlanta Project. All samples are carefully handled and processed to ensure accurate and reliable results. The Company’s Qualified Person, Calvin R. Herron, P.Geo., has reviewed and approved the technical information presented in this announcement.
